Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) 2018 Recruitment – The Comptroller-General, Nigeria Immigration Service, Mr. Muhammad babandede, has urged Nigerians seeking employment into the service to disregard money-for-job offers by individuals, saying they are scams.
This was contained in a statement by the service Public Relations Officer and made available to newsmen in Abuja this Morning, 7th of July 2017.

The statement said many criminal elements were currently using fake websites and social media accounts to defraud unsuspecting members of the public, seeking enlistment into the NIS.
It said the criminal elements used the fake sites to pose as the Comptroller-General and the PRO of the service to offer job placements to unsuspecting members of the public.
“The Comptroller-General wishes to advise members of the public to disregard any such money-for-job offers on the fake website and social media platforms”.
He said the ongoing recruitment as being handled by the Presidential Committee, set up to assist in the conduct of 2018 Immigration recruitment, would be fair and transparent.
The statement said the website address for the recruitment is closed since 3rd July 2017, and information regarding the upcoming examination will be published in due time.
No list of applicants name has been released yet or has any examination been conducted so far, He advice all applicant to be patience as the date and venue’s will be published very soon.
