Winchester School of Art at the University of Southampton is offering postgraduate taught scholarships. These opportunities are open to UK, EU and international students for 2021 entry.
The University of Southampton is a public research university located in Southampton, England. The origins of the university date back to the founding of the Hartley Institution in 1862 following a legacy to the Corporation of Southampton by Henry Robinson Hartley.

If the student’s first language or the language of education is not English, University will ask them to show evidence of fluency in the use of English.
Course Level: The studentships are available for pursuing the postgraduate program.
Study Subject: The studentships are provided to study the subjects offered at Winchester School of Art.
- Progression Scholarship: Students who achieve a first in their undergraduate degree will receive £3,000; those who achieve a 2.1 will receive £2,500, and those who achieve a 2.2 will receive £1,500.
- UK/EU Postgraduate Taught Scholarship: The Scholarship consists of a £2,000 tuition fee reduction at enrolment and £3,000 living expense allowance paid in 4 quarters: October, 1 February, 1 April and 1 July
- International Postgraduate Taught MA Scholarship: University is offering Scholarships of £2,000 – £3,000 to students who have been offered a place on one of the School’s Masters programs starting in September 2021.
- Excellence in English Scholarship: The excellence in English Scholarship offers a £2,000 tuition fee reduction to students.

Progression Scholarship: University is pleased to offer Winchester School of Art Graduates progressing directly from a Bachelors’s degree to a Master’s degree at the School in 2021.
UK/EU Postgraduate Taught Scholarship: These competitive The studentships are available to all UK/EU students who have been offered a place on one of the School’s Masters programs.
International Postgraduate Taught MA Scholarship: The grant is available to students from outside the European Union (With the exception of mainland China).
Excellence in English Scholarship: Students must be paying their own tuition fees. Students in receipt of full external funding

College Admission Requirement
English Language Requirement: For all of the postgraduate program University requires a level of IELTS 6.5.
How to Apply: Applicants are required to take admission to the master’s degree program at the university.
